Lowy Cancer Research Center
One of the largest children’s cancer research institutes, the Lowy Cancer Institute is a $100 Million plus facility. HMA Blinds have installed all combinations of dual, semi transparent chain operated and motorized blinds, as well as motorized curtains for this Institute.
The centralized automated controlled blinds are all linked to a single control system. The human interface program, Tebis, has been designed for either single or group controlling of the blinds. There is a weather station mounted. This combined with advanced programming and metrological data will determine the most appropriate positioning for the blinds for both human comfort and energy saving for the building.
